Northern Michigan University's Winterfest with the theme “Frigid Fiesta”, will include an Airband Competition: “Bands” with participants competing for the title of Airband Champion and a cash prize. The event will be on Tuesday, February 19 at 7 p.m. in Jamrich 102. Winterfest will run through Saturday, February 23. The Student events committee will collect winter apparel, such as hats, mittens and scarves throughout the festival in cooperation with the NMU Volunteer Center.
