Marquette – The Marquette Symphony Orchestra will present the concert “Romantic Impressions” on Saturday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette.
The concert will include the “Barber of Seville Overture” by Rossini, “Overture to Tannhäuser” by Wagner, and “La Mer” by Debussy. Performing with the orchestra will be this year’s Youth Concerto Contest winner, Timothy Bedard, who is completing his Master’s degree in Horn Performance at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Tickets are on sale at NMU’s Central Ticket Office in the Barry Events Center as well as through www.nmu.edu/tickets or by phone at 227-1032.
