Marquette – Modern Classics will offer a free screening of “The King’s Speech” on Thursday, January 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Starring Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, and Helena Bonham Carter, the film is the story of King George VI of the United Kingdom, his improptu ascension to the throne and the speech therapist who helped the unsure monarch become worth of it.
