Marquette – The Fred Waara Chapter of Trout Unlimited will sponsor a “Fishing After Hours” program on Wednesday, January 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Landmark Inn on N. Front Street in Marquette.
Henry Quinlan from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Ashland, Wisconsin will talk about Brook Trout in the Lake Superior Watershed. The USFWS has been working on a project replicating their Eastern Brook Trout reintroduction efforts in New England. Henry will give an update on their scoping efforts that members of the Fred Waara Chapter helped to support three years ago.
All who are interested in cold water fisheries and conservation are welcome and light refreshments will be served.
