Marquette – Warm up in the middle of an Upper Peninsula winter with the pleasant sounds of the ukulele! Yooper Uke Week 2, February 14 through 18, sponsored by Hiawatha Music Co-op and presented by “Michigan’s Ukulele Ambassador” Ben Hassenger.
Ukelele Strum and Sing will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 201 E. Ridge Street in Marquette.
A ukulele group strum and sing is always a fun time! Enjoy the most social of instruments; sing, play, and meet new friends from the Yooper Uke Club. The event will be co-led by Jeff Krebs of Jim’s Music and Ben Hassenger. The event is free.
