Negaunee – The Irontown Association Tree Lighting and Parade will be held on Saturday, December 3 beginning at 5 p.m. on Iron Street in Negaunee.
Santa and the 2016 Pioneer Princess, Miss Addison Thornton, will ride in the parade. The Negaunee City Band will be performing as Santa rides up the street and after he arrives. The Christmas Tree lighting will take place directly after the parade.
In addition to the parade and tree lighting, pictures with Santa can be taken in the upstairs of the Negaunee City Center. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available while you wait. Don’t forget your camera!
The Negaunee City Center will host a Craft Show Sale from 4 to 8 p.m. Many local artists and vendors will be throughout the building. Also, St. Vincent’s will be hosting a Bake Sale with all proceeds going directly to families in need. If you would like to donate a baked good, please drop it off the day of the sale.
