Negaunee – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter will host a “Home 4 the Holidays Open House” on Saturday, December 15 from noon to 7 p.m. at the UPAWS Shelter, 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township.
Pets for adoption will have special adoption offers plus all adopted pets will go home with a Christmas stocking gift package, free treats and handmade cat blankets, donated by UPAWS supporters. Pick a special candy cane and receive up to 75 percent off any adoption fee and also have the chance to receive a no fee adoption of a new furry friend.
Adoption fee includes the pets spay or neuter surgery, initial vaccinations (including rabies vaccine), a general health check, a full-size bag of Dr. Tim’s All Natural pet food, microchip and health insurance.
