Calendar – Films/Documentaries – DocuMonday to Screen “Alive Inside” – Nov. 7

Marquette – DocuMonday will present a screening of the 2014 documentary film “Alive Inside” on Monday, November 7 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

The film follows social worker Dan Cohen, founder of the nonprofit organization Music & Memory, as he fights against a broken health-care system to demonstrate music’s ability to combat memory loss and restore a deep sense of self to those suffering from it.

Winner of numerous film festival awards, “Alive Inside” is not rated and runs for 74 minutes. A discussion follows the screening with representatives from the local Alzheimer’s Association.
