Marquette – Don Shaffer, a Northern Michigan university alumnus and senior scientist at Jounce Therapeutics, will present “Immunotherapy: A new hope for long-term cancer regression,” on Thursday, October 27 at 6:30 p.m. in 2904 West Science at Northern Michigan University.
Shaffer will also present “Engineering CARs for Cancer Immunotherapy” on Friday, October 28 at 4 p.m. in NMU’s Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building.
Both talks are free and open to the public. Shaffer was formerly involved with the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center.
