Calendar – Theater – Upper Peninsula Shakespeare Festival to Present “Frankenstein” – Oct. 30

Marquette – The Upper Peninsula Shakespeare Festival will present “Frankenstein” on Sunday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Ore Dock Brewing Company in Marquette.

“Frankenstein,” the first work of science fiction, tells the story of Victor Frankenstein and the monster he creates. Mary Shelly’s gothic masterpiece wrestles with the basic question of what it means to be human.

Forrest Hejkal will take on the role of Victor Frankenstein. Alastar Dimitrie, Jonas Greenberg, Melissa Neil, John Sarkela, Mary Wardell and Elise Wixtrom complete the ensemble.
