Calendar – Theater – Afternoon Film Classic Series – Feb. 1

Marquette – The Peter White Public Library Afternoon Classics film series will present “To Kill a Mockingbird” on Monday, February 1 at 1:30 p.m.

Gregory Peck stars in the Academy Award-winning 1962 film, which tells the story of 6-year-old Jean Louise “Scout” Finch, a girl growing up in in a small Southern town in the early 1930s. Her father, Atticus, the town lawyer, is a wise, quiet man with a great sense of justice who defends a poor black man accused of rape.
