Marquette – Umut Acar, who recently completed his first year as Turkish Consul General in Chicago, will give a presentation as a guest of the criminal justice department on Tuesday, October 11 at 3 p.m. in room 2306 of the University Center at Northern Michigan University.
He will address Turkey’s redefinition of terrorism as a result of July’s military coup d’état attempt and “Fethullah Gulen’s terrorist organization.” The public is invited.
