Marquette – The Care Clinic will hold their annual LifeWalk “Together for Life” on Saturday, May 14, beginning with registration at 9 a.m. at the Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette. The walk begins at 9:30 a.m.
A balloon release will be held at the start of the LifeWalk. Biodegradable balloons can be purchased for $10 in honor or memory of a friend or loved one. The names of those being honored will be read prior to the start of the walk. All donations will be used to support Care Clinic’s programs and services.
All participating walkers, whether individuals or teams, can register at http://bit.ly/1EqClz2. Through this online donation system participants can create their own fundraising page and promote this event. All are welcome to participate and raise pledges.
The mission of Care Clinic is to empower women and men to make healthy choices for themselves and their children by counseling them with truthful information about their unexpected pregnancy. They offer physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational support that equips them in parenting and life skills and develops a heart attitude that values life.
