Marquette – The Matinee Movie series will offer a screening of “Room” on Tuesday, April 19 at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
The film is about a kidnapped mother, who with her young son, escape from a room in which they have endured imprisonment for the entirety of her son’s life. Upon breaking free from its confines, they experience a dramatic homecoming; provoking insight into the depths of imagination and the extent of a mother’s love.
“Room ” is based on the novel by Emma Donahue, is rated R for language and runs for 118 minutes. Matinee Movie welcomes the public to bring their own lunch and enjoy the film in a dinner theater setting. Closed captioning will be on to ensure access for all.
