Upper Peninsula high school football seniors are scheduled to play in an all-star game at the Superior Dome on Saturday, June 28. The game will be part of an all-star week of activities, which includes a food drive, media day, an All-Star Banquet, a pre-game coaches social and tailgate, as well as an underclassmen Recruiting Combine. All of these lead up to the main event, the game itself, which will be comprised of high school seniors from all across the Upper Peninsula. Coaches from U.P. high schools will be directing the teams. The U.P. Football All-Star Game will be broadcast on tv and radio. live on WLUC-TV6 throughout the U.P. The all-star game will provide the players, coaches and fans of U.P. high school football an opportunity to participate in a truly unique event. The athletes and coaches will be on the NMU campus for the whole week practicing and taking part in the all-star activities, much like the week leading up to the Super Bowl. It will be an experience they will never forget. All proceeds will be donated to The Beacon House and the U.P. Sports Hall of Fame. Sponsorships are being sought from local businesses.
