Marquette – As part of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, UP Health System will hold a free public education presentation on colon cancer on Tuesday, March 15 beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a free dinner at the Hampton Inn in Marquette.
Dr. Philp Lowry, medical director of the UP Health System Cancer Center, will speak on “Colon Cancer: No One Likes to Talk About, But We Should.” It will focus on the importance of screening and prevention.
