Marquette – “The Secret Garden” will be presented Wednesday, April 6 through Saturday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. each evening in the Forest Roberts Theatre at Northern Michigan University. A Saturday Matinee will also be offered at 1 p.m.
“The Secret Garden” is an enchanting musical that is perfect for all ages. Following her parents unexpected deaths, the newly orphaned Mary Lennox is sent away from her home in India to live with her embittered and isolated uncle, Archibald, and his invalid son, Colin. While exploring her new home Mary meets new friends and discovers a magical secret garden. Through haunting melodies and spirits from her past, Mary leads her new family on a journey of discovery and forgiveness.
Tickets are $15 for the general public, $10 for area students, and $5 for NMU students. Tickets are available at all NMU EZ Ticket outlets.
