Ishpeming – Teacher, poet, and actor, B.G. Bradley opens up the world of summer at the lake in his one man presentation “At the Lake on Wednesday January 25 at 7 p.m. at The Joy Center, 1492 Southwood in Ishpeming.
“At the Lake” features poems, outdoor journals, stories, and
folk songs in a voice that can best be described as everyman’s voice.
There’s a little bit of philosophy, a dash or two of humor, and lots of tales of the outdoors in the U.P., according to Bradley. The show is based on Bradley’s low key adventures at the lake during the summer of 2011, and veers off into other summers spent there, by himself, friends, and family.
Tickets are $5 at the door and proceeds will benefit The Joy Center and the Westwood High School Drama Department and Westwood Shakespeare Company. For more information, call 486-8966.
