Ore Dock Brewing Company–Upstairs
The UP is getting an interesting visitor, particularly if you’re a vegetable farmer: Steve Rodrigue from Johnny’s Selected Seeds. He’s a product technician who has been overseeing variety trials for winter growing at Johnny’s Research Farm in Albion, Maine. He’s touring a few farms in the area on a trip to the UP, but wanted a chance to meet more farmers who are growing above the 45th parallel.
Here’s an article about Steve’s work: http://growingideas.johnnyseeds.com/2014/09/winter-trials-summary-lettuce-greens.html
If you’d like the opportunity to meet Steve and hear more about his work with overwintering greens and other vegetables, join us on Tuesday for a casual gathering upstairs at the Ore Dock!
