Houghton – The Sons of Norway and the Michigan Tech Nordic Ski Club will sponsor the talk on “The Birkebeiners: America and Norway” on Thursday, January 21 beginning with a social hour at 6:30 p.m. at the Michigan Tech Forestry Building, Hesterberg Hall G002 in Houghton. The talk begins at 7:30 p.m.
Pastor Joe Iverson of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chassell will share his experiences cross country ski racing in the American Birkebeiner in Cable, Wisconsin and in Lillehammer, Norway.
