MARQUETTE, MI – The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center is accepting entries for February’s Winter Charm exhibit. Artwork that embodies the spirit of our wintery climate will be accepted. This is a non-juried exhibition open to the public, all media is welcomed.
The exhibition will be held at the Peter White Public Library in the Huron Mountain Club Gallery located at 217 N. Front Street, February 1 through February 27. There will be a reception on Thursday, February 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. Artists and the public are welcome to attend.
Entry forms and guidelines for the show can be picked up at the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center. Artwork that is ready to be hung (with entry form attached) should be submitted to the Arts and Culture Center by Thursday, January 28 before 5 p.m. Artists will pick up their work in the Huron Mountain Club Gallery on Saturday, February 27 between 1 and 5 p.m.
Winter Charm is an annual art exhibition made possible by the Lake Superior Art Association, the MACC, the Peter White Public Library, and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
