Marquette – The Peninsula Arts Appreciation Council will offer a “1940’s USO-style Christmas Show and Dessert” on Saturday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Masonic Square Red Room on West Washington Street in downtown Marquette.
Come celebrate the season by harking back to an oft forgotten era of innocence and sacrifice in a musical review of popular military tunes and seasonal hits up to the 1940’s. Cookies and bars will be provided by Midtown Bakery of Negaunee.
Tickets are $12 and include beverage and dessert. Tickets are available at the Vista Theater Box Office in Negaunee, and Snowbound Books in Marquette until the day before the show. Remaining tickets will be offered at the door. $2 of each ticket sold will be donated to the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight.
