Marquette – A fair trade market will be held on Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Sunday, July 14 from noon to 2 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 305 W. Magnetic Street in Marquette.
The market will feature a variety of fair trade items including jewelry, purses, bags, wood items and more, handmade by disadvantaged artisans in developing regions around the world. The market will also feature fairly traded coffee, tea, chocolates, soup mixes and olive oil. Purchases from this market help artisans to maintain steady work and earn a sustainable income.
