Ishpeming – The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life will take place on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 from 1 p.m.to 1 p.m. at Al Quaal Recreation Area.
This relay has team members taking turns walking the track for 24 hours. The track is lit by luminarie bags which are sold for $10; each bag is in honor or a cancer survivor or in memory of someone who has passed away from cancer.
Money raised is used for research, advocacy, and education.
