Marquette – Dollhouse Day will be held on Saturday, November 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marquette Regional History Center on W. Spring Street in Marquette.
Even more dollhouses are on display this year, and they will be decorated for the holidays! The event features a tin lithographed Western Town play set and mid-century ranch from the permanent collection. Community members will be displaying childhood dollhouses like a 1980s Littles Home by Mattel and a 1962 Barbie Dream House made of cardboard and cardboard furniture. Also on loan will be handcrafted miniatures, including a travel trailer, a Cajun made cabin and a fairy home.
If your child brings their favorite doll or stuffed animal along to see the exhibit, they will get in free. Visit marquettehistory .org or call 226-3571 for more information.
