Escanaba – The U.P. Steam and Gas Engine Association will present the 38th Annual Show featuring antique tractors and fly-wheel type stationary engines Saturday, August 31 through Monday, September 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the U.P. State Fair Grounds in Escanaba. A preview day will be on Friday, August 30 from noon to 5 p.m.
The Steam Village will be open with its many quaint shops, the museum will be open and there will be a large flea market. There will also be a gun and knife show. Concessions will be in operation throughout the weekend. Demonstrations of engines and farm equipment, and a daily tractor parade will also be featured.
Admission is $5 for spectators and free for exhibitors and children under 14. Camping is available.
