Marquette – Bizarre beasts, grotesque ghouls, and mysterious monsters await you in a late night stroll through the annual Haunted Bog Walk on Thursday, October 25, Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. each evening at the Presque Isle Bog Walk in Marquette.
Allow ghostly line leaders to take you on a spellbinding adventure through a transformed bog. For 20 chilling minutes you will be led through a land where ghouls lurk under the Boardwalk, zombies roam through the spruces, maniacs wielding chain saws run rampant through the darkness, and ghosts float menacingly throughout the forest. Come and join us for this chilling Halloween experience!
For those wanting a less heart-stopping Halloween Experience, MooseWood also hosts the Friendly Frights Forest, a series of Halloween crafts, face painting and games that can be enjoyed by all ages from 6 to 9 p.m. each night.
This annual event marks the biggest fundraiser for Moosewood Nature Center, a nonprofit organization, located on Presque Isle. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Proceeds help to generate the money needed to provide nature, outdoor and science programming, help pay staff salaries, as well as feed all the MooseWood critters: turtles, frogs, snakes, and gerbils.
