Marquette, Michigan – November 16, 2015 – Two Northern Michigan University instrumental groups will perform on consecutive nights. Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall. The NMU Orchestra will present a “pops” concert featuring energetic arrangements of popular film and holiday music on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The NMU Jazz Band will perform music by Sonny Rollins, Oscar Pettiford, Charlie Parker, Maria Schneider and more on Thursday, Nov. 19. Admission is free.
