NCLL Hosts Edmund Fitzgerald Talk – Nov. 16

Marquette, MichiganNovember 13, 2015 – Historian Fred Stonehouse, a recognized authority on the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, will give a presentation marking the 40th anniversary of the tragedy through the Northern Center for Lifelong Learning. He will explain the mysterious loss of the 729-foot ore carrier with all 29 people on board on Nov. 10 1975. It is often described as the great shipwreck on the Great Lake.

This program will take place from 2-4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16 in the Community Room of the Peter White Library. This event will cost $3 for members and $8 for non members. Register before Nov. 9  by calling 227-2979.
