Marquette, MichiganNovember 16, 2015 – Peter White Public Library continues a new non-fiction book discussion group called “The Human Condition” on Wednesday, November 18th at 7:00 pm in the Dandelion Cottage Room. The group meets on the third Wednesday of every month, and is hosted by Jeremy Morelock.

This month’s book is At Hell’s Gate: A Soldier’s Journey from War to Peace by Claude Anshin Thomas. At Hell’s Gate is Thomas’s dramatic coming-of-age story and a spiritual travelogue from the horrors of combat in Vietnam to discovering a spiritual approach to healing violence and ending war from the inside out. In simple and direct language, Thomas shares timeless teachings on healing emotional suffering and offers us practical guidance in using mindfulness and compassion to transform our lives.

Free admission, all are welcome. Call 226-4311 or visit www.pwpl.info for more information on how to order the book for free through inter-library loan.
