Marquette, Michigan – October 27, 2015 – The next Your Health community presentation, “Healthy Communities Start with Healthy Kids,” will be held on Thursday, Oct. 29, at Northern Michigan University. Mona Hanna-Attisha, assistant professor with the Department of Pediatrics and Human Development at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, will discuss raising healthy kids and building healthy communities. Her talk is scheduled at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall. Admission is free.
Hanna-Attisha is director of Hurley Medical Center’s pediatric residency program. She is a board member of the Michigan Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, member of the Michigan Department of Community Health’s Public Health Code Advisory Committee and honorary medical director at YMCA Camp Copneconic.
