Marquette – Actor Sean Astin will present “Life Lessons from a Career in Film” on Tuesday, November 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at Northern Michigan University.
Astin is best known for his film roles in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy and “Goonies.” He also has served as director, voice artist and producer. He is a vocal advocate for literacy, mental health awareness, bipolar disorder and civic engagement.
Admission is free for NMU students with a student ID and $2 for the general public. The NMU student activity fee and Platform Personalities are sponsoring this event.
