Marquette, Michigan – November 2, 2015 – The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum has a lot of fun events coming up this November.
Help the Museum— Shop at Getz’s Clothiers Wednesday, November 4th 10:00 a.m. –– 7:00 p.m. Get 25 percent off storewide (some exclusions) and five percent of the sales will go to the Children’s Museum! Make a purchase that day and you will entered in drawings throughout the day.
8-18 Media New Member Training— Friday, November 6, from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Pizza and snacks will be served 8-18 Media is a journalism and leadership program for kids age 8-18. The program is free and there is no academic prerequisite to join. Pre-registration is appreciated. Call the U.P. Children’s Museum at 226-7874 or email 818mediaupcm@gmail.com for more information or to pre-register. Training will take place at the Children’s Museum in the 8-18 Media News Bureau Office.
Second Thursday Creativity Series “Big Art”— Thursday, November 12 5:30 p.m. –– 7:30 p.m. The Upper Peninsula Children’s museum will partner with Liberty Children’s Art Project for a variety of Big Art craft activities, plus snacks, live music and more! Free with admission or membership.
Turtle Toys for Ladies Night Downtown Marquette— Thursday, November 19th From 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m for sweets, beverages and super fun giveaways.

The Twelfth Annual Celebrity Art Auction— Thursday, December 3 at the Children’s Museum 5:30 p.m. viewing 7:00 p.m. auction An event for adults featuring original “art” work by some of our community’s most unexpected artists to benefit the U.P. Children’s Museum. Sip wine and beer, sample an array of appetizers, savor the delectable Sayklly’s chocolate fountain, and more! Free Admission.
