Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a Woodworkers Rally on Mondays from October 26 through November 17 in room 137 of the Jacobetti Complex at Northern Michigan University. Workshops will run from 8 a.m. to noon.
Participants are asked to bring ideas and materials to class and learn while they build. NMU tools will be provided. Instructor Sam Carey will suggest appropriate tools and demonstrate their use. He also will address skills, safety, finishing techniques and “tricks of the trade.”
The cost is $30 for NCLL members and $65 for nonmembers. Call 227-2979 for more information or to register.
