Marquette, Michigan – Local author Gretchen Preston, accompanied by her leader dog, Floyd, will present a Northern Center for Lifelong Learning program on her lifelong journey with visual impairment and Leader Dogs for the Blind in Michigan. Preston will talk about how Floyd and modern technology help her function in the visual world.
This program will be held from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, in the Whitman Hall commons at Northern Michigan University. The cost is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. Register before Sept. 23 by calling 227-2979.
