Marquette – Tasty Reads, the book group for readers who love to cook, will meet for a discussion of vegetarian cooking on Monday, October 12 at noon
in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Books covered include “Vegan Soups & Hearty Stews for All Seasons” by Nava Atlas, “The Complete Vegan Kitchen” by Jannequin Bennett, “How to Cook Everything-Vegetarian Cooking” by Mark Bittman, “The Heart of the Plate-Vegetarian Recipes for a New Generation” by Mollie Katzen, “Mediterranean Vegetarian Feasts” by Aglaia Kremezi, and “Fresh from the Vegetarian Slow Cooker “ by Robin Robertson.
Book group participants are invited to share a sample recipe inspired by one of the books. New members are always welcome. There is no admission charge.
