Ishpeming – Project Keep Kids Warm will begin on Saturday, October 10 with collection bags being distributed throughout the community by members of Wesley United Methodist Church in Ishpemning.
Donations of warm clothing such as coats, sweaters, hats, mittens and socks are being sought. Bags will be collected on Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to noon.
A free shopping day for families in need of warm clothing will be held on Saturday, October 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ishpeming Armory.
