Marquette – The Northern Michigan University Student Nurses Association (SNA) will hold a “Run For Shelter” 5K run/walk on Saturday, October 17 beginning with registration at 7:30 a.m. at the University Center at NMU.
The race starts at 9 a.m. The cost is $20 for individuals and $25 for families. The SNA is donating all proceeds to the Janzen House, a non-profit shelter for low-income, potentially homeless people in the Marquette area.
To order a t-shirt, pre-register before October 9 by emailing the SNA at sna@nmu.edu with name and shirt size. Same day registrants may purchase a t-shirt for an additional $5 while supplies last. For more information, contact Wesley Hoppe at (608)-698-1293.
