Seney – The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, in cooperation with the Seney Natural History Association, invites youth, ages 7-17, to participate in the 4th Annual Youth in the Outdoors event on Saturday, September 26 at Seney National Wildlife Refuge.
There are 12 different activities to choose from.
Sessions include Owl Pellet Dissection, Outdoor Cooking, Archery, Monarchs and Milkweed, Eco Games, Draw Your Own Seney Picture Book, Pond Safari, Tracking and Trapping, Chocolay Birds of Prey Show, Basic Birding by Bus, Bicycling the Back Country and GPS Scavenger Hunt.
All activities are geared toward kids in upper elementary school and older (approximately age 7 and up), and some activities may be physically demanding. Some of these sessions may help meet scout badge requirements and some of those requirements. This is a rain or shine event so please dress for comfort in whatever weather conditions are predicted.

Preregistration is required by September 21. There is a $5 registration fee.
