Calendar – Education – Meet The Writers Reading, Discussion and Signing Event – Sept. 23

Marquette – Meet the writers of “Here: Women Writing on Michigan’s Upper Peninsula,” a collection of poetry and short fiction, at a reading, discussion, and signing event on Wednesday, September 23 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Editor Ron Reikki has drawn on the work of Upper Peninsula authors past and present to create a vibrant kaleidoscope of voices and experiences that makes the unique character of the U.P. materialize on the page. The first of its kind, this is an anthology for all seasons, an homage to the rich literary heritage of the region.

A book sale and signing follows the presentation which is open to the public at no admission charge. For more information call the library at 226-4318 or visit www.pwpl.info.
