Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer an archaeology program with Marla Buckmaster on Thursday, September 10 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 122 of the Jacobetti Center at Northern Michigan University.
Archaeology is more than the recovery of artifacts such as pottery, beads and tools that are often exhibited in museums. Buckmaster will discuss what archaeologists learn from additional sources found during field experiences.
The cost is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. Register by September 2 by calling 227-2979.
