Marquette – Author R. Bruce Larson celebrates the release of his new book, “Secrets and Rivals: Wartime Letters and the Parents I Never Knew” with a presentation on Wednesday, July 22 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White
Public Library.
Secrets and Rivals tells the true story of struggles that his parents experienced during World War II, documented in almost 700 letters from those years.
