Shakespeare Readers Read “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” by William Shakespeare on Wednesday, July 1st

Marquette, MI – Shakespeare Readers will read “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” by William Shakespeare on Wednesday, July 1 at 6:30 pm in the Peter White Public Library’s Shiras Room .

One of Shakespeare’s most popular works for the stage, “A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream was written around 1595 and tells of the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and Hippolyta. Most of the play is set in the forest where fairies manipulate the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors.

Shakespeare Readers is a group for anyone who is intrigued with reading aloud the works of William Shakespeare. They meet on the first Wednesday of each month and new readers are always welcome.
