Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a Little Garlic (Elliott Donnell Wilderness) hike on Tuesday, June 23. The rain date is June 25.
Participants will begin at the parking lot on 550 and hike 2.9 miles of the North Country Trail to Little Garlic Road. The terrain includes steep slopes, a pristine trout stream, a fern garden, bluffs and a beech-maple forest. Hiking poles are recommended.
The cost is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members/ Register by Tuesday, June 16, by calling 227-2979.
