Calendar – Education – Science on Tap at Ore Dock Brewing Company – May 14

Marquette– The Science on Tap monthly pub series will explore “The Face of Fear: How Our Brain is Influenced By Others’ Facial Expressions” on Thursday, May 14 at 7 p.m. in the upper level of the Ore Dock Brewing Company in downtown Marquette.

Bob Torrence of Northern Michigan University’s psychology department will give the talk and it is free and open to all ages.

Science on Tap is a series of informal 20 to 30 minute presentations geared toward the general public and delivered by local scientists based on their research or areas of expertise. Each is followed by a question-and-answer session. The series is organized by the NMU chapter of Sigma Xi–The Scientific Research Society and hosted by the Ore Dock Brewing Company.
