Marquette – The Marquette Choral Society will present a concert of the music of British choral composer Paul Ayres on Saturday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Vandement Arena at Northern Michigan University.
The highlight of the program will be the world premiere of a new composition for mixed chorus and handbells, “The Harmony of Heaven and Earth.” The work was commissioned by the Choral Society. The concert is the farewell concert of Dr. Floyd Slotterback, who has directed the group since 1986.
