Michigan Tax Tribunal Panel Presentation – April 9th

Marquette, MI – The Peter White Public Library will host an informational program on the Michigan Tax Tribunal on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the library. This program will focus on the Michigan Tax Tribunal and how the Tribunal’s decisions concerning commercial property values are affecting Marquette County and the State of Michigan.

Doug Garrison will serve as moderator of the panel discussion. Panel members are Dennis Liimatta, Supervisor of Marquette Township; Bruce Closser, Property Appraiser; Jackie Lykins, Deputy Director Marquette County Equalization Department; Steven Lasher, Chair of the Michigan Tax Tribunal; John Kivela, Michigan Representative District 109; Marty Fittante, Legislative Aide to Senator Tom Casperson District 38.

Following the panel discussion, audience members may submit questions related to the Michigan Tax Tribunal.

This program is open to the public at no charge. Additional information can be obtained from Library Director Pam Christensen at 226-4303.
