Marquette – The Marquette Regional History Center invites the public to attend their Annual Meeting and Social on Wednesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. at the MRHC on W. Spring Street in Marquette.
The annual meeting celebrates the History Center’s 2014 accomplishments and will inform the public of all the exciting programming for 2015. Find out who the new board members are, and who will be the recipients of the esteemed “Peter White” award and the “Helen Longyear Paul” award for contribution to local history.
After the business meeting and awards ceremony, there will be entertainment with
a dramatic reading to commemorate the Sesquicentennial of the End of the Civil War—2015 by Jessica “Red” Bays. Light refreshments will be offered.
