Marquette – Join anthropologist Barbara Rylko-Bauer, author of “A Polish Doctor in the Nazi Camps” for a presentation entitled “Writing My Mother’s Story” on Monday, April 13 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Rylko-Bauer interweaves personal family narrative with history to relate, from a daughter’s viewpoint, her Polish Catholic mother’s World War II experiences as a prisoner-doctor in Jewish slave labor camps in Nazi Germany.
