Marquette-The next Your Health public lecture at Northern Michigan University will focus on promoting proper nutrition and physical activity as a way to combat the childhood obesity epidemic. Dr. Dean Sienko from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine will give the free presentation at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 12, in NMU’s Reynolds Recital Hall. Sienko will discuss prevention and treatment of childhood obesity and related diseases.
